Tozando “Kinran Iaito” – A New Masterpiece of Japanese Tradition

Tozando, cherished by martial artists worldwide, now brings you the “Kinran Iaito”, a new masterpiece forged from the union of two of Japan’s finest traditional crafts.
Each Iaito is carefully crafted at our workshop, also known for producing genuine Japanese sword mounts, using time-honored techniques that embody both precision and elegance.

The handle (tsuka) is wrapped with luxurious Nishijin brocade fabric, woven in Kyoto’s historic Nishijin district, an area renowned for centuries for its exquisite textile artistry.

This Iaito inherits the legacy of Tozando’s beloved Nishijin Iaito, a model once discontinued but deeply missed by many practitioners.
You can choose from a wide range of options for tsuba, menuki, fuchi-kashira, and other fittings, allowing you to personalize your Iaito to your taste and style.
