These simple Hakama are made from Tetron, a polyester and rayon (artificial silk) blend. Strong and durable, these are great for practitioners seeking a practical and economic pair of hakama to get down to some training. They are suitable for kendo, iaido, naginata, or kyudo - however, due to the Hera (plastic hook for the obi) and stiff Koshi-ita (backboard), we do not recommend these for Aikido as Ukemi will not be easy.
