Introducing our new Grooved Bokuto, meticulously crafted in the Akamu Wooden Weapons Workshop.

With each swing, air channels through the deeply carved groove along the blade, producing a sharp, commanding sound that immediately sets it apart. The groove is precisely engineered in both depth and length, generating a clearer, louder tone than standard bokuto commonly found on the market.

This distinct sound and feedback closely replicate the sensation of cutting with a live shinken, enhancing realism, timing, and focus during training.

Crafted from lightweight Hokkaido oak, the bokuto offers excellent balance and responsive handling. Its approachable weight makes it suitable for experienced practitioners while remaining comfortable for women and younger martial artists.
